Ahh I remember fondly, as a young boy dreaming of how cool I was going to make my first set of wheels, I had visions of a fully equipped workshop with every tool ever invented to help me on my way to rebuilding what I imagined would be a beauty of a wreck, just in need of a lick of paint and loads of tender loving care. As it turned out my boyhood dreams did in fact become a reality! And the vehicle my dad could afford was exactly as I had imagined, A beauty of a wreck! That needed way more than a lick of fresh paint and by far more tender loving care than my paper route could finance. Oh and that fully equipped workshop stocked with every tool ever invented for car restoration turned out to be the same old workshop I had grown up in and spent every weekend working in as my friends and I toiled hours away fixing and fine tuning out bicycles all sharing much the same dream.
Well as time went by (and many a paper was delivered) I slowly got to the point where my very first auto could be fired up for the first time, and fire up she did! Not long after that i was able to give her that fresh lick of paint every old timer needs to feel like a new car again. All that was missing now was a real load of money and a whole lot more hard work! I realised that what she really needed was a fine set of rims and figured that, that would be just the cure for her old timer blues, that was till i saw what these high end rims cost! So my old man took me to a place where we could get a real good deal on a set of wheel trims, which i then bought and fitted. I was really amazed at the difference they made to my auto; they truly added value to her just by looking at them.
